This feature displays search results in an autocomplete drop-down, ensuring users can quickly find relevant content across the site. Note: The default WordPress search only works for pages and blog posts.
Activating Network Search
Network Search allows you to search everything within your BuddyBoss site—including social groups, members, pages, posts, forums, media, documents, custom post types, and user-generated content.
- Go to WordPress Dashboard > BuddyBoss > Components.
- Check the box for Network Search to activate it.

- Go to WordPress Dashboard > BuddyBoss > Settings > Search.
- Check the boxes for the BuddyBoss components you want to search through (such as social groups, members, forums, media, and documents).
- Check the boxes for WordPress Pages and Posts to enable Searching for it.
- Enable the autocomplete feature by checking the corresponding option.
- Enter the number of search results to display in the dropdown.
