How to Fix Missing Projects in Google API Access

Introduction

When connecting your Google Developer account to create a Service Account Key, you might notice that your project is missing from the Link Existing Project dropdown. This issue occurs because the Google Play Android Developer API is not enabled for that project. By following the steps below, you can enable the API and link your existing project successfully.

Access Project Settings

  1. Click on the project name that you are trying to link.
  2. Click the menu on the upper left corner.
  3. Choose APIs and Services > Dashboard.

Enable the Google Play Android Developer API

  1. Click Enable APIs and Services.
  2. In the search bar, type Google Play Android Developer API.
  3. Click on Google Play Android Developer API.
  4. Click Enable to activate the API for your project.
  1. Go back to the API Access page in your Google Developer account
  2. Refresh the page to update the project list.
  3. Your project should now appear in the Link Existing Project dropdown.
