Introduction
The Forum Login Widget provides members with a convenient way to log in directly from your site’s sidebar or widget areas. It also includes quick links for registration and password recovery, ensuring a smoother user experience and boosting engagement in your forums.
Why Use the Forum Login Widget?
- Seamless access: Users can log in without navigating to a separate login page.
- Quick registration: Provide a direct link to your sign-up page.
- Password recovery: Add a link to reset forgotten passwords.

Adding and Configuring the Widget
- Go to Appearance > Widgets in your WordPress Dashboard.
- Choose the widget area where you want to display the login form (e.g., Activity Page Sidebar).
- In the search bar, type Forum Login.
- Drag and drop the Forum Login Widget into the selected area or click the + icon to add it.

- Enter a Title (e.g., Member Login).
- Add the following URLs:
- Register URL – the page where users can create an account.
- Lost Password URL – the page where users can reset their password.
- Register URL – the page where users can create an account.

- Click Update to save your changes.
Verifying the Widget
- Refresh your frontend and navigate to the page where the widget was added (e.g., the Activity Page).
- The login form will appear with fields for username and password.

- If you configured the URLs, Register and Lost Password links will also display below the form.
