Introduction
BuddyBoss Forums offers two levels of topic pinning—Sticky and Super Sticky—to help you surface important discussions. This guide explains how each feature behaves so you can choose the right one for your community.
Super Sticky
- Pins a topic to the top of all discussion forums, regardless of which forum it belongs to.
- Visible at the very top of every forum’s topic list, unless that forum is within a Group and the Group’s own settings override it.
Sticky
- Pins a topic only within its own discussion forum.
- Appears at the top of the topic list for that specific forum only.
Key Differences

A: Confirm you clicked Sticky on the correct discussion and cleared any caching layers

A: Yes. Sticky content always floats above regular topics regardless of sorting (newest, alphabetical, etc.). Verify sorting controls are applied after pinning.
