How to Resolve Build Error Code E011 – Image Upload Issues

Introduction

Build Error Code E011 — “There is an issue with one or more of your uploaded images. Try uploading new images and then sending a new build” — occurs when one or more of your branding assets (Home Screen, Login Screens, Register Screens, Launch Screen, App Icons, Android Adaptive Icon, or Android Notification Icon) fail validation during the build process.

This typically happens because an image is in an unsupported format, is corrupted, or doesn’t meet the required dimensions or file size. To fix this, you’ll need to remove the invalid assets, re-upload compliant images, and generate a new build.

Remove Existing Images and Icons

1. Go to BuddyBoss App > Branding > Images.
2. For each section—Home Screen, Login Screens, Register Screens, Launch Screen, App Icons, Android Adaptive Icon, and Android Notification Icon—click Remove Image.

3. Click Save Changes.
   

Re-add Supported Images

1. On the same Branding > Images page, upload new images and icons in .PNG or .JPG format that meet the required dimensions and size limits.
2. Click Save Changes.
   

Generate a New Build

1. Navigate to BuddyBoss App > Build.
2. Review Information, verify that your newly added images appear correctly.
3. Click Send Build Request to produce a new build with the updated assets.
   

Do I Need to Generate a New Build?

Yes. You must generate a new build so that the corrected images are embedded in your app package.
