Introduction
Apple’s App Store Guideline 2.1 – Performance > App Completeness requires clear, detailed information about any paid features in your app. If your review was paused with a message like:
We have started the review of your app, but we need additional information about your app.
To help us proceed, please review the following questions and provide as much detailed information as you can.
This guide explains how to answer Apple’s questions so your review can continue without a new build.
How to Resolve It
To address this issue, reply with comprehensive answers to each question Apple posed:
- Does your app access any paid content or services?
- What are the paid content or services?
- Do individual customers pay for the content or services?
- If no, does a company or organization pay for the content or services?
- Where do they pay, and what’s the payment method?
- If users create an account to use your app, are there fees involved?
- How do users obtain an account?
Provide clear, concise details—for example, names of subscriptions or courses, pricing model (one-time, subscription), purchase flow (in-app, web), and account creation process.
Respond in App Store Connect
In the Resolution Center, reply with a structured message, for example:
