Translation Problem

Where i can change the “Groups” and “Photos” titles/text?
I put the translation files on the dir, but didnt work for me

@caio groups is a BuddyPress language word while Photos should be under the BuddyBoss language file. If you find a word is not working let me know since I have not received feedback from the BuddyBoss language file yet.

@tjchester A lot of words will not be translated into your theme. When I logged in and go to the ACTIVITY folder ‘My Likes’ and ‘Public Mentions’ will not be translated though it’s translated into the po-file of your theme. ‘Add Photo’ isn’t translated equally. Same for Forums ‘Latest Poster’ ‘Posted in group’.

I translated this directly into your buddy_boss_wall.php and buddy_boss-pics.php

Please check this!

1. ‘My Likes’ in folder ACTIVITY of your theme, file ‘index.php has been translated directly – now it works.
2. ‘Public Mentions’ in folder ACTIVITY of your theme, file ‘index.php has been translated directly – now it works.
3. ‘Add Photo’ in folder _inc of your theme, file ‘global.js’ has been translated directly – now it works

All ‘Like’ and ‘Comment’ hints to each activity, texts and photos are also not translatable.

Comment is a BuddyPress word, can you send me a link to the page in question and I can help you track this down.

‘Like’ is now translated but only for Likes on the activity stream of a member but not for the main activity stream, see https://www.sportstep.de/mitglieder/safir/ and https://www.sportstep.de/activity/

Same for ‘Comment’

Great! Solved this too – thanks. I’ll hope that all translation bugs are solved in an update of your theme also, because users would have a lot of work twice, you know?

I found another translation issue when clicking the ‘Like’ under menu ‘Activity’

I translated ‘Like’ to ‘Gefällt mir’ and ‘Unlike’ to ‘Gefällt-mir-nicht-mehr’. It works – but!!! if I click on the translated word, the word switches into English again. When I reload the page it switches into German. This should not be ok, you know?

@thorsten I believe the like and unlike are in the buddyboss/_inc/global.js file
