    After I created a public group and published it, it went created iteslf as a Private group and want let me go back and change it as an admin? Please advise….here is video>>http://screencast.com/t/cxLlP5UUx

    Am I missing something somewhere? The first group stayed at public until right before I went back to it in the video. The 2nd and 3rd group went from Public straight to private after I published it

    Ronnie, I might be wrong but I think the assumption here is that if you’re linking the group to a course, then it’s intended only for students enrolled in that course, which is why it defaults to private. Once a user starts taking the course, then they’d be added to the group automatically.

    This is how it’s been working for me so far.

    Hi @mysportsd , thanks @davejay we are making all the group private which are going to be associated with courses and it is included in our core plugin https://wordpress.org/plugins/sensei-buddypress/

    It is required to keep that group discussion and forums private for those members only who are student for that course.
