    Hi,
I’m a member customer/member with approximately three hours experience!

I’ve decided to venture into the unknown and set up a social learning site even though I have zero programme knowledge! Any help would be much appreciated!

I’ve installed BOSS theme and Social Learner child theme. Also installed buddypress, buddy press for Learndash, Learndash, Boss for learndash, bbpress, learndash BBPress.

Everything seems fine except that there are no members listed or member menu items on the site. Everything else seems to be there. Login / register works fine.

When I associate a WordPress Page with a BuddyPress component directory,a page called ‘members’ it doesn’t show any in the site. But, there is a ‘hidden’ members page on the site (currently not linked to menu)

I notice that the buddypress members page points towards

    http://37.60.224.194/~engli313/index.php/members/

whereas the actual ‘invisible’ members page is at…

    http://37.60.224.194/~engli313/members/

What do I do to get members appear in the members page/appear on menus?

I can’t change the url to the one without index.php, and even if I could, would that be the correct thing to do???

(Sorry for IP address, awaiting domain transfer)

    Thank you,

    Tony Holland

    Hi @english24,
Welcome to BuddyBoss community, Please go to Settings >> Permalinks
    and select Post Name

You have not configured it that’s why you are getting ( http://37.60.224.194/~engli313/index.php/) index.php in url

    Thanks a lot. That’s great.

I now have an issue when I send friend requests from various people: there is an error message ‘there is a problem try again later.’ but trying later doesn’t work either. (that’s from email links on directly on site/logged on.’

Is that lined to the change made above?

    Thanks

    Tony
