    Now I have the BuddyBar disabled for the whole network using the “define ( ‘BP_DISABLE_ADMIN_BAR’, true );” code on the wp-config.php file.

    Is there a way of enabling it ONLY for the main site (site ID 1)?

    @donmcint you can use something similar to:
    [css].page #wp-admin-bar ul {display:none;}[/css]
    you can change .page to whichever variable you want based on where you want it to show up and not. Use view source to find out which CSS you want it to be
