how to display inbox

i installed and configured buddy boss inbox on my own theme but where do i go to view the inbox i watched the video and it jumps from install to viewing the inbox
do i need to create a page with a short code? its not clear what the next step is after configuring the plugin please clarify

it looks like this plugin will not work without a buddy boss theme which is not what i was told before i purchased very frustrating lack of documentation even a list of bullet items to follow would be helpful the video tutorial is useless since it jumps around i wish someone would help me figure this out

From the from end check the Messages >> Inbox menu
Each individual member profile have their own user specific url
It enhance default BuddyPress Message section
