Hi all, I copied css/main-desktop.css over to child theme, but saved changes aren’t showing. Does it need to be edited from the parent directory? I’m trying to edit from the default style without going through customizer.

Hi @surfbuddy, Please copy only those classes to custom.css which you need to modify else need to enqueue that newly added css file to child theme.

Hi @pallavi, I’m working on a new default scheme, not via custom.css or any custom overrides. I have copied css/main-desktop.css to boss-child/css/main-desktop.css and it’s not working. How can I edit all default styles to have a new default style, not via custom.css or any custom overrides?

@surfbuddy you cannot copy any CSS files to the child theme you must override them by adding the same styles to the custom.css file in the child theme.
