AlyssaParticipant@jerseypeeps we use WP Super Cache with these directories exempt:
wp-.*\.php
index\.php
/register/
/activate/
/support-forums/
/history/
WP-Optimize is a good DB toolMarch 29, 2014 at 3:21 am #25163@
AnonymousThanks for that have been using these for a while now just wanted the best set-up that wont cause issues with scripts, I have now run through every part of w3tc and seem to have it sussed at long last 🙂

AlyssaParticipant@adminzenoed you don’t want and admin pages cached as this can cause a disparity between settings you just changed and the page served to your browser. You don’t want to cache the forums because they are constantly updated. If we were using an activity stream we would not want that to be cached either. Caching is to be used with static pages that are not constantly updated. Any page that is updated regularly (think hourly) caching should be used with extreme caution.
