TJ, you are the man! You have been an enormous help and I would love to give you or your company feedback on your customer support. Let me know if this is possible.

Also, i have a few questions.

Question #1: Is it possible to have an index page like http://www.facebook.com has with buddyboss?

What I mean by this is can I customize the code to where the input fields for the buddyboss registration forms go (example http://www.universityofabs.com/register) can be moved to a separate page instead of the default one built into the theme?

Question #2: Is it possible to move the login boxes for existing members to the top right corner like facebook?

Question #3: Finally, does budyboss come with a feature that allows users to stay logged in by checking a radio button box?

    Thanks in advance.

@anthony thank you for the kind words. I’ll check to see if we have anywhere you can write a testimonial.

    1) The registration is a heavily coded part of BuddyPress. I do not believe you will be able to accomplish what you want, however, will some code and knowledge you can make your registration page look like the rest of your site. But if you are not code savvy you will need to hire a developer.

    2) It would require a bit of coding to do that, again, you might need to hire a developer or look it up in the BuddyPress forums.

    3) Unfortunately I was unable to find anything to keep users logged in but I did find this useful resource: http://www.planetmike.com/2008/06/30/how-to-make-the-wordpress-login-cookie-last-longer-than-two-weeks/

Thanks TJ. I am going to hire a programmer for step 1.

Can you at least guide me in the right direction as to what files (i.e. buddypress or buddyboss) will need to be editted or modified to accomplish step #1?

    I would greatly appreciate it!

@anthony all you really need to do it copy your index.php template to buddypress/bp-themes/bp-default/registration/register.php. From there you can edit the registration fields to appear like they are built into your site instead of having the bland register page. This will require heavy CSS formatting to make it look pretty. Hope this helps, let me know if there is anything else I can do for ya.

You are awesome. I may hire a buddypress developer. Do you guys do custom work? I am willing to pay and if not do you have a company you recommend?

@anthony I am on the board of directors for a company out in California called Web2 for Business. I usually send leads to them and if they get stuck I can consult for them to keep costs down. Just wanted to give you full disclosure before I recommend them to you. You can contact Tom in sales via email at team@web2fb.com, I you want his phone number message me and I can give that to you as well.
