BuddyPress 1.5 to be released in coming weeks instead of BuddyPress 1.3

The core BuddyPress team and other volunteer developers have been working hard on BuddyPress 1.3 since February of 2010. They have released 9 point releases since then and the next release will be a major update, so they will be skipping versions and releasing the next version as BuddyPress 1.5, instead of 1.3.
There has been a lot of work put into 1.5:
- 792 tickets closed
- 494 confirmed bug fixes
- 2,161 total code changes since 1.2 was released

Today we updated BuddyBoss, our premium BuddyPress theme, to version 1.1.4. This is a maintenance update.
Updates include:
- Fixed bug with post form displaying on users’ Walls while logged out.
- Improved CSS with BuddyPress Activity Plus plugin.
- Added word-wrap to admin bar for long words.
- Made admin bar slightly wider to allow for longer words.
- Fixed minor CSS issue with right aligned text getting cut off.
- Updated “Theme Support” section in BuddyBoss admin settings.

Today we updated BuddyBoss, our premium BuddyPress theme, to version 1.1.3. This update is necessary for compatibility with WordPress 3.2 and BuddyPress 1.2.9. It also brings a highly requested feature, optional widget areas for all of the BuddyPress directories (Members, Groups, Forums, Blogs, Activity), as well as several bug fixes and improvements.

Free BuddyBoss child theme with navigation like this site

We have received a number of requests to make the BuddyBoss navigation look similar to this site, so we went ahead and created a simple child theme that styles the navigation to be fixed width and rounded corners. In order to use this child theme you need to first purchase the BuddyBoss theme.

Today we updated BuddyBoss, our premium BuddyPress theme, to version 1.1.1. This is a minor update.
Updates include:
- Fixes for formatting of BuddyPress Links plugin and BP Gallery plugin (added to default.css).
- When posting new topics on Group Forums Directory, “Post In Group Forum” is now first and marked as required, to prevent posting errors (it’s required by BuddyPress already).
- Added bullets to widget list items to make separation between items more clear.

We highly suggest learning about and using a “child theme” to ensure easy updating of your BuddyBoss theme. As powerful and polished as the theme is today, it will only get better as time goes on and we want you to be able to take advantage of future updates.
