At the moment all of the information entered by the member (in pink) is a link that just sends the user back to the homepage. I want all of the information to not be links, apart from the website link. Problem is the website link doesn't send the user to the external URL, just sends them back to the homepage.

What do I need to do in the code to achieve the above?

But recently when someone posts a reply with a @mention, the post does not show up. The strange thing is that the mention sends a notification to the member, and it is shown on the mentioned members wall. But if you go to the forum post, there is nothing there.

@tjchester - Would you like me to PM you screenshots or links to specifically show the error?

the custom sidebar is activated also for this page -> http://blogger.fashionbleeker.com/members/staff/groups/ where the problem is not shown.

That means the sidebar is not the problem otherwise the problem would be shown for all pages and non only for the forum.

I think there is a problem inside your theme.

I cannot wait more time, please can you solve this problem?
Or give me instructions to solve maybe via PHP
